I've always loved math! Every since I was in elementary school, I enjoyed solving equations and discovering all that math had to offer! It wasn't until college that I learned what it meant to struggle in math. I had classes that really challenged me, and to be honest, I struggled.

I tell my students often that I know what it's like to struggle in math. I know what it's like to not understand a concept right away. But that doesn't mean we stop and give up. I challenge all my students to ask questions. I think that's why I love helping them so much!

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy hiking, playing soccer, baking, playing games with my husband and son, and spending time with family.
